Summary

The Integrated Clinical Services Manager is responsible for driving growth and enhancing the clinical services portfolio of the Company. This role integrates clinical expertise with business development strategies to expand services, build strategic partnerships, oversee infusion suite operations, and support clinical research initiatives. The position collaborates with sales, operations, and healthcare providers to deliver innovative and patient-centered solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The Integrated Clinical Services Manager oversees various aspects of clinical program management, including patient referrals, treatment coordination, and collaboration with medical committees. This position involves research coordination, clinical trial management, and acting as a point of contact for MD and industry-led research initiatives. The role requires managing IRB processes, facilitating medical committee meetings, and ensuring effective communication between clinical and financial teams. The position is instrumental in driving partnerships, direct patient outreach, and supporting the initiation of specialized clinics and infusion services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategic Growth

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for clinical program expansion, including partnerships with healthcare providers, institutions, and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align clinical offerings with market demands and support relationship-building efforts.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue and optimize service delivery.

Clinical Program Development

  • Design, implement, and oversee clinical programs, including infusion services, specialty pharmacy initiatives, and chronic disease management solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging clinical opportunities and integrate evidence-based practices into new service lines.
  • Monitor program performance and adapt strategies to improve outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Oversees and coordinates external Clinical Programs (i.e., JNJ Tremfya, Skyrizi, Vyvgart) with Operations team to ensure development of program, compliance with requirements, and reporting is complete.

Infusion Suite Oversight

  • Manage and oversee the operations of infusion suites, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational excellence.
  • Leads CSI + MD infusion suite partnerships, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Provides weekly check-ins, ensuring smooth patient and provider record sharing through EMR access as appropriate.
  • Coordinates with schedulers and conduct patient outreach to improve service efficiency.
  • Develop protocols, train staff, and maintain compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.

Sales Liaison Duties

  • Act as the clinical subject matter expert in sales meetings, presentations, and educational sessions.
  • Provide guidance to sales teams on clinical aspects of pharmacy services to enhance client relationships and business proposals.

Clinical Research & Studies

  • Collaborate with research teams to design and execute clinical studies related to pharmacy services.
  • Ensure compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements while supporting publication efforts.
  • Coordinates research initiatives and clinical trials, acting as a liaison for MDs and industry collaborators.
  • Manages IRB processes and ensures compliance with all research guidelines.

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical services and pharmacy operations.
  • Develop and enforce policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry standards.
  • Participates in quality improvement projects and audits.
  • Ensures adherence to therapeutic standards and compliance policies.
  • Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following pharmacy and infusion site philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing/pharmacy, state nurse/pharmacy practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
  • Adheres to the Company’s compliance requirements as stated in the policy and procedure manual and all other related policies.
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Medical Committee Management

  • Coordinates and attends Medical Committee Meetings, documenting communications and actions.
  • Logs hours and facilitates payment coordination with CSI Finance Team.
  • Clinical Partnerships and Program Development including process creation and maintenance.

Specialized Clinic Initiatives

  • Collaborates with CMO and other stakeholders on the initiation of PANS/PANDAS clinics and related infusion services.
  • Direct Patient Outreach
  • Engages in direct outreach to discuss home infusion options with referred patient groups across various locations.

Administrative and Clinical Support

  • Coordinates development of Clinical Outcomes aggregate reporting for providers, payers, and manufacturers.
  • Shares outcomes and monitoring data with the Executive Leadership Team and clinical treatment team.
  • Maintains effective working relationships and cooperates with all personnel in the Company.
  • Oversees creation and implementation of an Escalation Team for patient issues.
  • Supervises and oversees Pharmacy Programs Coordinator(s) workload and confirms priorities are consistent and align with organization goals.

Education and/or Experience

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required. Advanced certifications (e.g., BCPS, BCGP) preferred.
  • Maintains certification as a registered pharmacist from a Board recognized national certification organization, which requires the passing of a national certifying examination in the specialty in which the applicant is seeking certification by the Board.
  • At least five (5) years clinical experience with Immune Globulin and/or Autoimmune or Immune related therapies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical pharmacy experience, with at least 2 years in business development or program management.
  • Experience in infusion suite management, specialty pharmacy, or clinical research is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for building partnerships and working with diverse teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in clinical software and tools, with knowledge of healthcare business analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet goals.
  • Clinical Skills, Nursing or Pharmacy Skills, Strong knowledge-base in infusion, experience providing immune globulin or other biologics, Teamwork, Multi-tasking, Listening, Verbal Communication, Health Promotion and Maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Medicaid/Medicare experience
  • Prior authorization/utilization review experience
  • IgCN or IgCP, or similar certifications relating to Ig Infusions
