Summary

CSI Pharmacy is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to the development of our in-house proprietary HUB, a critical system that supports pharmacy operations. This role involves working with OutSystems, a low-code platform, to build scalable, efficient, and high-performing software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare technology/software development and a passion for innovation in a fast- paced, evolving environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

Software Development & Implementation:

  • Develop, design, and implement software solutions using OutSystems.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, design, and system architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into functional applications.

System Architecture & Scalability:

  • Assist in designing scalable, high-performance systems to support pharmacy operations.
  • Ensure software is secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.
  • Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance system capabilities. Collaboration & Teamwork:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA, and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers when needed.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.

  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues as team members and to communicate effectively.

  • Competence in Microsoft Office products.
  • Working knowledge of basic medical terminology is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office required, including Excel, Access, and Word.

Education and/or Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably within healthcare technology.
  • Experience with OutSystems or other low-code development platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, API development, and system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Experience with SQL databases and application development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Technologies includes .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of healthcare software solutions, interoperability standards, and compliance (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
