Summary
CSI Pharmacy is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to the development of our in-house proprietary HUB, a critical system that supports pharmacy operations. This role involves working with OutSystems, a low-code platform, to build scalable, efficient, and high-performing software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare technology/software development and a passion for innovation in a fast- paced, evolving environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
Software Development & Implementation:
- Develop, design, and implement software solutions using OutSystems.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, design, and system architecture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into functional applications.
System Architecture & Scalability:
- Assist in designing scalable, high-performance systems to support pharmacy operations.
- Ensure software is secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.
- Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance system capabilities. Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA, and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers when needed.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.

Education and/or Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably within healthcare technology.
- Experience with OutSystems or other low-code development platforms is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, API development, and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Experience with SQL databases and application development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Technologies includes .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of healthcare software solutions, interoperability standards, and compliance (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
