Summary
The Product Owner will play a critical role in driving the development and delivery of our pharmacy operations platform. This individual will bridge the gap between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring the software meets business needs and delivers exceptional value. The Product Owner will drive operational efficiencies and enhance the user experience, with a focus on creating impactful solutions in the healthcare space. This individual will possess a mix of technical acumen and a knack for product management, particularly in healthcare or software environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Pharmacy Innovation and key stakeholders to define and prioritize the product roadmap.
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories, epics, and detailed product requirements.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and other design documentation to communicate the product vision to development teams.
- Track and report on the success of features post-launch, ensuring continuous alignment with business goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors.
- Facilitate regular meetings with project stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and incorporate feedback into the product backlog.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
Development Team Coordination
- Work closely with internal and external development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features.
- Provide clear direction and prioritize tasks for development sprints.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Quality Assurance (Q/A)
- Define and execute test plans to validate product features and functionality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs or issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Advocate for a high standard of quality in all deliverables.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform future iterations.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in healthcare technology, pharmacy operations, and software development to drive innovation.
- Champion user-centered design principles and data-driven decision-making.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and recommend product improvements based on user feedback, performance metrics, and market trends.

Qualification Requirements

Education and/or Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a product owner, product manager, or related role in the healthcare or software development industry.
- Strong experience with wireframing, user story development, and managing product backlogs.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems and navigate challenges effectively.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
