Summary

Enhanced Services Program Manager is responsible for the end-to-end development and execution, operational performance, and reporting of all enhanced service programs within the specialty home infusion pharmacy. This role ensures programs are delivered consistently, meet defined outcomes, and generate measurable value for patients, providers, and partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

Program Development and Execution

  • Translate program requirements into clear and efficient workflows, policies, SOPs, escalation pathways, and defined task ownership.
  • Ensure consistent communication and execution across nursing, pharmacy, and operations with timely escalation of barriers.
  • Identify and resolve breakdowns in delivery, communication, or documentation that impacts timelines, safety, or patient experience.  
  • Embeds enhanced services workflows in existing team and system infrastructure when able.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Define and measure implemented workflow outcomes (program requirements, adherence, interventions, etc.) through created reporting avenues (dashboards, clinically analytics, etc.)
  • Drive program performance improvement based on data review, outcomes monitoring, and evolving program expectations.
  • Own all program reporting deliverables, that are both accurate and punctual.
  • Translate data into actionable insights that improve workflow, patient support strategies, and partner reporting value. 

Clinical Operations Coordination

  • Act as the central point of coordination across clinical, operational, procurement, and revenue cycle teams for enhanced services program success.
  • Initiate and ensure alignment, communication, and accountability across functions and tasks occur.
  • Collaborate with clinical, compliance, and operations teams to build and refine scalable workflows embedded in existing infrastructures, as well as isolated tasks to Enhanced programs.
  • Drives standardized workflows and execution across functions that are efficient, repeatable, valuable, and measurable.

Quality and Program Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to improve outcomes, reduce cost to deliver, and enhance patient experience
  • Ensure programs meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards, with maintained documentation and audit readiness

Key Success Metrics

  • Sustained program adherence rates
  • Stakeholder satisfaction and expansion of program therapy lines
  • On-time and accurate reporting of expected deliverables
  • Reduction operational defects

Qualification Requirements

Education and/or Experience

  • Pharmacist or Nursing Clinician with the following requirements:

B.S. or Pharm. D. in pharmacy 

  • ​Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state in which the facility is located 
  • ​Qualifications to perform clinical oversight for the services provided 
  • ​1-year post-graduate experience in patient care 
  • Two years’ experience working as a Pharmacist in a Specialty Pharmacy 

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. 

  • Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 7 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in home and/or specialty infusion therapy or a similar healthcare setting. 
  • Strong background in quality improvement methodologies 
  • Proven experience managing clinical teams and overseeing regulatory compliance. 
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. 

  • Experience in healthcare program management including multidisciplinary functions.
