The Director of Nursing Services oversees the clinical functions of nursing services across the organization. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care for home and/or specialty infusion therapy patients while driving operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a focus on optimizing processes to enhance both patient and employee satisfaction. The Director of Nursing Services leads and manages all Regional Directors of Nursing and ensures that all nurses and agencies providing CSI Pharmacy patient care do so in a way that is consistent with CSI Pharmacy patient centered core values and mission
Salary Range: $140k - $150k+ (DOE)
Schedule: Remote Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm CST
Travel: This role is expected to travel 25% - 50% (1-2 weeks/month, at times) within TX, OH, CT, FL, AR, and any of our new sites
Location: Ideally based in the Plano, TX area but not required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
- Develops and implements clinical and operational strategies for nursing services in home and/or specialty infusion therapy.
- Leads and manages nursing teams to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care across all service areas.
- Partners with executive leadership to set goals, establish priorities, and align nursing operations with the organization's mission and vision.
- Oversees the daily operations of nursing services, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of care to patients.
- Monitors resource utilization, including staff scheduling, supply management, and budgeting, to maintain operational efficiency.
- Analyzes performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans as appropriate.
- Primary point of contact for clinical nursing questions, needs, and concerns
- Ensures compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, including state and federal requirements for home and/or specialty infusion therapy.
- Promotes the use of evidence-based practices and establish protocols to improve clinical outcomes.
- Ensures infection control measures and patient safety initiatives are implemented to mitigate risks.
- Maintains a patient-first approach, ensuring the delivery of compassionate and effective care tailored to individual needs.
- Addresses patient concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and optimize patient outcomes.
- Recruits, trains, and mentors nursing staff to maintain a highly skilled and motivated team.
- Fosters a culture of continuous learning by identifying and facilitating professional development opportunities.
- Implements strategies to enhance staff engagement, retention, and job satisfaction.
- Serves as a liaison between nursing teams, patients, families, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinates with pharmacy, operations, and other departments to streamline workflows and ensure seamless care delivery.
- Represents the nursing department in organizational meetings and external engagements.
- Contributes to the maintenance and enhancement of CSI Pharmacy's culture of service, ensuring that all activities align with our core values and mission.

- Maintains effective working relationships and cooperates with Company personnel.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in home and/or specialty infusion therapy or a similar healthcare setting.
- Strong background in quality improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience managing clinical teams and overseeing regulatory compliance.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
